While looking through the news, I found an interesting article about the supposed "secret weapon" of the marijuana industry; women.
The article linked below claims that women " are key to the cannabis movement" , holding 27% of all executive positions in the newly blooming industry.

What are your thoughts on / responses to this? The article goes on list some of the most influential women in the marijuana business, like Kim Rivers, CEO of Trulieve Cannabis, to list one.
I would say that the difference of 27% of executive positions in the marijuana industry belonging to women as compared to 23% on average worldwide is not major enough to say that "women are key (or a secret weapon) to the cannabis movement." Obviously, both men and women are and will be influencing the marijuana industry; it is important to recognize that. Not sure what the author was exactly trying to prove given the title, though I totally support women being in executive positions. Perhaps it is just my misinterpretation, but the wording of the title implies that women were completely overlooked in marketing and influence. Maybe it would have been better off just branding the article as "influential women in the marijuana industry".
